Cultrue is a clothing brand run by McKenna and Chance Pressley in Lexington, North Carolina. This policy explains what information this website handles. The short version: the site has no forms, no accounts and no advertising trackers, card payments are handled by Stripe, and we do not sell anyone's information.
Information you give us
When you pay by card on this site, you check out on a secure payment page run by Stripe. Stripe collects your card details — we never see or store your card number — along with your name, email, phone number and shipping address, and passes us what we need to fill your order: who you are, where to send it and what you bought.
When you order by email, we receive what any email carries: your name and email address, and whatever you write, such as the item, colour and size you want and where it should be shipped.
Either way, we use this only to fill your order, send it, and answer your questions about it.
Information collected automatically
- Hosting. The site is hosted by Vercel, whose servers record standard request information (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to deliver and secure the site.
- Visit statistics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are viewed. It does not use cookies and does not identify you personally.
- Your bag. Items you add to your bag are remembered in your own browser (not on our servers) so they are still there if you come back. Completing an order or clearing your browser data removes them.
- Fonts. The site's typefaces load from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google's servers, which receive your IP address.
Cookies
This site does not set cookies. Stripe's payment page, which is run by Stripe, uses its own cookies to process payments securely and prevent fraud; see Stripe's privacy policy for details.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only as needed to fill an order — for example, your name and address with the shipping carrier — or when the law requires it. The services named above (Vercel, Google and Stripe) process data on our behalf as described. Order details — including your name, contact details and shipping address — are also stored in the online account our website provider, Salt Services, runs for our shop, and are used to send us a notice of each new order.
Retention and security
We keep order emails for as long as we need them to fill the order and for our records. We take reasonable care to protect them, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing us. We will honor reasonable requests wherever you live.
